“Fitzroy can be a tricky place to find a quiet spot to relax, hunker down with a good book or smash out some work on your trusted lappy. The Tin Pot Cafe has been a warmly laid-back North Fitzroy cafe since the early nineties. Take your pick from the seats reminiscent of your grandma’s lounge and order from a rotating specials board for lunch. Add a few coffees to your stay and you’ll find the Tin Pot Cafe is one of the best Melbourne cafes around.”

“By far and away the best cafe Northside! Atmosphere is homely yet lively. Food is on point. Cocktails excellent. Parking can be tricky in that area though, so best to tram it in. Stops out the front. Thank you to all the staff. A special mention to the adorable Ian, think he is the maître d’/manager, he made us all feel SO WELCOME. Will be back this weekend!”

“I had a private hire party at the Tin Pot cafe. I couldn't recommend this gorgeous space more. Iain and his team sorted everything from canapés to drinks, and let us dance into the small hours. It's a fabulous, warm space for an event and I couldn't recommend it more for a special occasion. Book!!”

“Tinpot Cafe offers a charming vintage ambiance with mismatched furniture and creative plant displays. The food, particularly the croque madame and buckwheat pancakes, is delicious. The friendly service and local art exhibit featuring works from Fitzroy HSfor sale enhance the experience. A delightful spot to enjoy Melbourne's unique character..”

“Was convinced by tiktok to come and try Tinpot and they did not disappoint. The coffee was a beautiful blend, pairing well with oat milk, and the prosciutto pizza I had was delectable!
